Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, located at the crossroads of County Road 8 and County Road 81 in Gordon, AL (just SE of Dothan, AL), is prayerfully seeking a Bi-vocational Pastor to lead our small rural country church congregation. 

We have a large sanctuary, an educational wing, and a fellowship hall that, at one time, were full and active with many adults, youth, and children. Over the years, our numbers have dwindled, but we are praying that with the man God is preparing to send us, these rooms will once again be filled and active, sharing the word and love of God. 

We have two services weekly: Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11:00 a.m., and Wednesday night prayer and Bible study. 

We are seeking a pastor who, above all, believes the Bible is the true, inerrant word of God. A pastor who meets the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. Exemplifying Godly character, compassion, and brotherly love for others.
