Communications Ministry Assistant/Receptionist

The Southeast Alabama Baptist Association is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to fill the role of Communications Ministry Assistant/Receptionist. This position plays a crucial role in managing all forms of communication efforts for the association, supporting various functions such as website and app management, database maintenance, promotional material design, and serving guests when they come into the office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the association's website and mobile app to ensure relevant and engaging content
- Maintain and organize the association's database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management
- Design promotional materials for events and programs, and distribute them across various communication platforms
- Utilize social media platforms to promote events, activities, and updates to the association's audience
- Assist with receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and providing general administrative support
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong people skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in database management and content creation
- Creative mindset with a flair for design and creating visually appealing promotional materials
- Proficiency in website management, social media platforms, and basic graphic design tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Canva, Adobe Final Cut Pro
- Knowledge of podcast editing is a plus
